The Aspire X-SUPERALIEN Aluminum Case has many more useful features than most cases currently on the market. Features like easy drive installation, removable motherboard tray, and 6 LED fans to allow for great air circulation. Also, at the front there is an LCD which shows CPU and HDD temperatures, Firewire, Audio, USB ports and much more. This is one hot product! Watch the Video to find out more...

In retrospect it only makes sense. Not too long ago we reviewed the X-Super Alien Case from Aspire. I should have guessed then that if there is a Super Alien then there must be a regular Alien around as well. Aspire has taken their X-Super Alien case and trimmed out some of its features to bring a more economical but still feature packed case to the market. Pretty much the only difference between the X-Super Alien and the X-Alien is the power supply, integrated rheobus and removable front grilling. We'll look at each of these in time here. We want to first thank the folks at Aspire USA, the makers of this series, for sending over one of their X-Alien cases to make this review possible. As with most reviews, let's start off with the specs.

hardcoreware If you're in the market for the style of the new Alienware cases, but are not at all interested in a prebuilt system, Aspire might have something for you. While their cases aren't as radically altered from the original Chen Ming designed towers as the Alienware cases, they still carry the alien head theme many people love. To top it all off, the X-Superalien has a ton of features added to it that many have been looking for on Chen Ming based cases - rotated HDD mounts, motherboard tray, and more.

overclockercafe One of my favorite things to play with are PC cases. Over the past few years we have done a good number of case reviews and seen lots of good and lots of not so good. There have been several cases that really stand out in my mind as being full featured worthy of your hard earned jack. Several of these cases that standout in my mind have been based around the Chenming (aka Chieftec, aka Antec) style case. This time around, Aspire takes a proven design and puts some subtle and some not so subtle changes in place to create their X-SuperAlien. Today, courtesy of AspireUSA we have one of these cases on deck to see what’s what. Let’s start things off with a look at the specs.
